Introducing The French Collection: Wearable History for the Modern Soul

There is something entirely magical about holding a piece of fabric that has lived a whole life before it ever reached your hands.

For a long time, I’ve been holding onto a small, incredibly rare collection of antique French kitchen linens. These aren't your standard mass-produced fabrics; they are heavy, structured utility linens woven decades ago, built to endure, and full of old-world soul. They represent an era of simple living, intentional craftsmanship, and textiles made to last lifetimes.

This weekend, I finally brought them out of the archive and onto the sewing machine. The result? The French Collection.

A limited, four-piece release of heritage skirts that beautifully bridge the gap between elegant European history and rugged, effortless boho-western grit.

These ladies will carry you beautifully all the way through fall, too. From those sun-drenched summer day dates at your favorite winery and early morning coffee runs to browsing the weekend farmers market, dancing in the square, or taking a long walk in the city—let one of these skirts be your new ultimate go-to!

The Story in the Stitches

If you look closely at these pieces, you’ll see the fingerprints of time. On The Margot and The Viv, you will find original, tiny red hand-embroidered monograms stitched into the linen corners by the women who originally owned them. On others, the authentic woven hanging loops remain intact, or a subtle side-slit hem tells a story of utility turned into art.

I designed these skirts to sit low, relaxed, and slouchy on the hips. They have a signature non-constricting elastic waistband that lets the heavy linen drape naturally and move with total freedom. They are meant to be thrown on with a vintage graphic tee, a chunky concho belt, and your absolute favorite worn-in leather cowboy boots.

Meet the Ladies

Because each skirt was reimagined from a completely unique, vintage textile, no two are alike. There are only four pieces available in this entire collection:

  • The Charlotte: A crisp cream foundation beautifully framed by classic red, white, and blue heritage stripes down the sides. (Length: 25" | Waist: 30"-34")

  • The Margot: Vibrant, bold red side-stripes featuring an original hand-embroidered monogram and an authentic woven corner loop at the hem. (Length: 31" | Waist: 28"-40")

  • The Viv: A stunning, balanced symmetry of rich red side-stripes, complete with a side-slit hem detail and original "L.M." initials. (Length: 31.5" | Waist: 30"-40")

  • The Bordeaux: The crown jewel—a slightly shorter, sleeker, and punchy mid-length silhouette with heavy, premium structure. (Length: 29" | Waist: 26"-38")
