A Saturday DIY
Happy Saturday! Well I have this pedestal that I use to love & well I kinda fell out of love with the color of it... so why not add some créme wax to it? I have been thinking about doing it for awhile now, but I just never got around to doing so, today was the perfect day to do so. So simple & very quick, it even dried quickly in this cold weather, yup California has cold weather too. It was a chippy white, oh it's not vintage I don't like messing with vintage vibes I take t

Digital Prints
So easy, cost effective & find your style that fits you & your home. Nope I'm not chatting about furniture, I am chatting about digital prints. I've used them before & I guess I forgot how easy they're to use. Up until a few weeks ago when I was planning in my mind what Country Chic Homes would look like in the Spring & maybe all year round. I went over to my favorite sight, where I know I will always find something even if it's not what I am looking for... Etsy! I typed in t

I have saved them to a highlight so you can go back to it whenever you would like. Haha you may need a coffee break as it's long. Home For The Holidays
Alright let me let you in on what my mind has been creating for the holidays here at Country Chic Homes.... since July! I am going with the traditional Red & Green & neutral colors creams & browns. It's going to be very nostalgic, rustic, very brocante & oh so simple. My heart wants simplicity & I feel that it's working for me as that's how I was for Fall. Christmas trees, how many? Our main one will be in our living room very simple with only light's. The other one will be i

Fall Porch
Okay!!! How did I forget to share my Fall Porch? I was so excited to get it all together & enjoy every bit of it that I totally spaced out on writing a blog post. If you're following me over on the gram , I did share a brief post... a few weeks ago! Well let's chat about it & all the deets. I literally went to Trader Joe's every day to buy pumpkins! I always found an excuse on why I needed to go, I'd come home with at least 3. One can never have too many pumpkins right? All d

A Pumpkin Patch Mantle
Okay so as much as I love real pumpkins, I think I am obsessed of the faux ones too. The minute stores starting stocking them I start buying them. This year I went more with a neutral vibe & amy that were orange I used the more muted ones. I created my pumpkin patch on our table/ mantle of our bedroom. Such a great view to look at when I am watching my favorite movie Practical Magic. I created this with a variety of different textures & size pumpkins. I added some amber bottl

Boo!!!
Halloween is soon approaching & if you were with me last year, you probably already know that I don't decorate too much for Halloween. But I sure do love a Halloween Tablescape! I do have a post from last year's Halloween Tablescape , that pretty much summed up my Halloween decor & I am pretty sure it's going to be very similar this year as I haven't bought any new pieces except more black tapers & battery operated candles . I'll be changing out my Fall tapers closer to Hal

Fall Wreath
Okay!!! I am so excited to share with you my 1st Fall wreath of the season & it may just be my only wreath till the end of the year. Cause when you have a good thing, why take it down? I tend to only create wreaths for Fall & for the holidays they just seem more appropriate, in my opinion. How I created this one was so easy & really it was a surprise that I did. See now, I had just bought the grapevine wreath & hung it up on our front porch & was going to call it good. Until
